Travelling with disabilities

Accessibility standards can vary greatly from one country to another. Your clients should be aware that many countries do not have facilities to provide access to people in wheelchairs or provide services for those with hearing, visual, or other disabilities.

We recommend that you research the services available in your clients’ destination country by contacting its embassy or consulate in Canada. Check the website of the airport at their destination to see if it offers services for travellers with disabilities.
