Travelling on business abroad

Every year, thousands of Canadians travel to countries around the world on business trips that will take them to one country or many for a day or for several weeks.

Before you travel abroad on business, you should be well informed about your market and about the laws, culture and business practices of your destination country.

For more information, visit the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service website, which includes extensive information on doing business abroad, and the Travel Advice and Advisories page for the country or region you will be visiting.

If you travel to the United States frequently, consider becoming a member of the Canada Border Service Agency's (CBSA) NEXUS program and save time at border crossings.
