International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis

Certain countries may have requirements to protect both individual travellers and countries from the risk of importing or spreading the yellow fever virus. If these requirements apply to the country to which you will be travelling, you may need a document called the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis as proof of vaccination. You can obtain the required vaccine and the documentation at a yellow fever vaccination centre.

If you do not show a valid certificate when requested at the border, you may not be allowed to enter the country, you may be quarantined for up to six days or put under medical surveillance, or you may be required to be vaccinated at point of entry.
