Flying into Canada: Register with your arrival test provider

Government of Canada temporarily suspending mandatory random arrival testing at all airports

As part of the structured plan to move COVID-19 testing out of airports, the Government of Canada is temporarily suspending mandatory random arrival testing at all airports for travellers who qualify as fully vaccinated until mid-July.

There are no changes to mandatory random arrival testing at land borders.

If you’re entering Canada at one of the airports listed below, you may be required to get tested on-site before exiting the airport. To speed you through the process, register in advance with the testing provider for the airport you’ll arrive at.

If your airport doesn’t provide on-site testing, you may be still required to complete arrival test using a self-swab test kit.  However, you don’t need to register in advance with the testing provider in this situation.

There are different requirements depending on your vaccination status.

Fully vaccinated: Mandatory random testing

If not qualified as fully vaccinated: testing
